About the market...
The Tantallon Village Farmers Market is typical of farmers markets that emphasize fresh, locally grown produce, sustainably raised animal products, prepared foods and beverages, and hand-made local crafts. The market is a community space where friends and families gather and enjoy life on the Bay.

For the 2017 season the market will be located on the grassy area directly north of the intersection of St Margaret's Bay road and Peggy's Cove Road, across Sonny's Lane from Mariposa. This is just a hop and a skip from last year's location. As soon as you are through the traffic lights and on to Sonny's Lane look left: we will be there and we certainly hope you will be there too.
Seeking additional vendors
The market already has an excellent array of quality local vendors, but there are a couple of additional areas we would like to cover. We are currently looking for vendors in the following areas:
- Quality artisans
- Small scale
- Primary producers
Call for volunteers
The market is organized by volunteers and we're looking for additional people who think the market is a good idea and would be willing to support it with a bit of their time. In particular we are looking for people who are able to help with setup and teardown on market days. Even if you can participate one day a month that would make a huge difference. Please contact us by email at email@example.com if you are interested in participating in this exciting adventure.
