Having our very own local farmers market in the Tantallon area was the dream of a small group of volunteers that formed early in 2012. That dream is now a reality! From a very modest beginning we have grown to become a thriving market with over 70 vendors and thousands of customers participating.
Tantallon Village Farmers Market is seen as a community gathering space where friends and families gather to enjoy life on The Bay.
This year the market is located at St Luke's United Church, 5374 St. Margaret's Bay Road. Parking is at a premium at St Luke's so, if possible, it would be helpful to park at the public lot at the intersection of Peggy's Cove Road and St. Margaret's Bay road and then walk the short distance along the trail to St Luke's.
The Market originated as a project of Transition Bay St. Margarets.
